SERHS Projects and Equipment offers comprehensive and personalised solutions presenting a product portfolio that includes projects, construction and equipment for groups, restaurants, cafeterias and hotels, amongst other companies.
This area develops four business lines that include: restaurant engineering, contract, construction and shop. This allows a large combination of services to be offered in each area, such as: technical projects, project and construction management, interior design and furniture, supply and installation of equipment, and maintenance and after-sales service. The following table shows how each business line that includes the different described services has been conceived to offer solutions personalised to the different needs of the hostelry sector.

Restaurant engineering: conceived to offer functional designs and supply equipment for professional kithcens, and generally all areas of restaurant activity for hostelry and groups.

Contract: conceived to offer an optimal balance between the functionality and design needed by the noble areas and hotel rooms, adapted to the hotel offer the customer requires.

Construction: conceived for anyone asking for professional solutions for new work and integral reforms in all sectors, which allows them to find the right balance between investment, quality, performance time and business solvency.

Shop: conceived for professionals of the sector to have the variety and advice they need with regard to machinery equipment, decoration and furniture they need for the hostelry business.

The experience accumulated in recent years and the satisfaction shown by the customers of the area have also involved offering solutions for projects for mediucal clinics, offices, company head offices and also commercial establishments.

SERHS Projects and Equipment has an area of implementation that allows comprehensive, personalised solutions to be given around Catalonia and the Spanish state, including the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands, and also comprehensive solutions focused on the area of hostelry and groups abroad, such as the case of Brazil or Morocco.

This area contains the companies that bring in this new conception, to which it is necessary to add the knowledge acquired in the surroundings of a corporation with more than 30 years experience in the sector. The ascribed companies are: Equip Turis, S.A., in Pineda de Mar (el Maresme), which is the head office and is ISO 9001:2000 certified; Equip Turis Canàries, S. A., with a clear leaning towards this territory (the Canary Islands), with its head offices in Tenerife, and positioned between the leading companies in projects and equipment for restaurants operating in this community. Creasa, S.L., with its head offices in l’Hospitalet del Llobregat, which is engaged in making stainless steel furniture to size for hostelry, having specialised in bar interiors, buffets, show-cooking and self-service, adapting to the functional and design needs of the surroundings. “Celaya” (Torreneulaser, S.L.) in Barcelona, acting as a commercial office and shop with a large display area.

The great capacity of action in this area is due to the fact that it has a team of multidisciplinary professionals including architects, engineers, interior designers, hostelry equipment projectors, designers and operators specialised in hostelry. All together, a team formed by nearly 100 people, and 3,900 m2 of facilities alongside a fleet of 37 vehicles.

As significant magnitudes in this area, we must mention the considerable growth in the volume of projects managed; a total 428 projects accepted and involving the management and control of more than 20 million euros. Within the overall turnover, it is noteworthy to indicate the balance between the hotel establishments on the one side, and the restaurants, the companies, the cafeterias and the hospitals on the other, allowing a greater diversification of the type of activity and, at the same time, reducing the seasonality of the business. This area has a trade fund of 2,758 customers who have trusted in its services, a figure considerably up on 2005 due to the new incorporations, above all of the centenary company “Celaya”. This year, more than 20,000 m2 have been built and reformed, more than 425,000 equipment units have been sold and 14,000 hours of installation and after-sales work have been contracted.

The main sale channels of the area are the sales made in the shop area, with a display of 2,000 m2 of machinery, virtual sales through the Celaya website and the personalised advice of our salespeople in the customers’ houses.

The work team is structured between commercial technical advisors, the technical office, co-ordination and execution, manufacturing, exhibition, decoration and complements, and after-sales service.

The commercial department directly advises each of the customers in the development of reform projects and or new construction projects with the support of each of the departments depending on the phase of the project. This dealing with the customer allows all kinds of solutions to be offered depending on each need.

In the Area of Equipment, the main new development of the year 2006 has been the inclusion of the centenary brand of renowned prestige and great professionalism in the sector, which is “Celaya”. This led to the creation of a new company, Torreneulaser, S.L, engaged in the sale of hostelry equipment in the areas of Barcelona and the metropolitan area, basically addressed at the sector of restaurants, cafeterias and bars. In the heart of the l’Eixample district in Barcelona, it has 1.500 m2 of exhibition and shop area.

Furthermore, this year Creasa has undergone organisational restructuring, involving modernising the manufacturing and connection done previously, just like the installing, the after-sales service and maintenance. This company gives service and provides competitiveness and service both to Equipturis and also Equipturis Canàries and “Celaya” itself. To satisfy these new needs, the construction work has started on new facilities in Pineda de Mar (El Maresme) where in 2007, when the work is complete, it will have an industrial warehouse of more than 3,000 m2 that will operate as a logistic centre of storage and a base for the team of installers, and the production unit in itself will also be there.

Creasa is a member of the A.F.E.C.H (“Asociación de Fabricantes Españoles exportadores de Equipamiento para la Hostelería y las Colectividades” – National Association of Manufacturers exporting Equipment for Hostelry) and the A.F.M.A. (“Asociación nacional de Fabricantes de Maquinaria Auxiliar para Hostelería, Colectividades e Industrias Afines” - National Association of Manufacturers of Auxiliary Machinery for Hostelry, Groups and Similar Industries). Both associations are gathered within the F.E.L.A.C (“Federación Española de Fabricantes de Maquinaria para Hostelería, Colectividades e Industrias Afines” – Spanish Federation of Manufacturers of Machinery for Hostelry, Groups and Similar Industries). Within the area of this federation and its respective associations, co-ordinated actions are planned for exporting and also for the internal commercial enhancement of the national products.

The area of SERHS Projects and Equipment is working on a new project of international tenders in order to make use of the experience acquired in this area and on the level of the Spanish state in recent years. It also takes part sporadically in the Hostelco exhibition, the manager of which, Mr. Miquel Mas, is a member of its organising committee. In the last edition held in Fira de Barcelona in 2006, two exhibition areas were set out: one dedicated to furniture with a surface area of 30 m2 and planned exclusively for the sale of rooms (turnkey concept: design, civil work, furniture and complements). The second space, of 100 m2, was focused on the comprehensive solutions with the Equipturis, Equipturis Canàries, Creasa and Celaya brands, this last company being present for the first time in the Area of Projects and Equipment, while focusing its specialisation on projects for restaurant areas, hotels, groups, restaurants and cafeterias.
